* These courses can be offered as basic introduction classes depending on the time allowed and length of the class, group event or workshop. |
| Description of Technique classes: |
| Christian Urban (Hip-Hop) - Teaching the basics of urban style or street style dance using technique without compromising morality, modesty and standards. This is more interpretive in nature, using interpretive sign dance incorporated with upbeat movements to interpret the Christian lyrics and music |
| Expressive Sign dance - Basic sign language to interpret lyrics of a song incorporated with ballet or lyrical dance |
| Intro to Ballet - Basic ballet movements including posture, basic arm and feet positions and basic moves one can incorporate in worship dance |
| Props: Flags, Banners Tambourine, Glory Hoops - a teaching on the purpose of each prop, basic technique and how to use for warfare |
| Interpretive dance - A dance that uses a variety of styles of dance and drama to interpret the lyrics of a song |
| Israeli Folk dance - The basic foundation of Christian Dance. Learn how to worship in the ways of the Hebrew faith. Congregational Circle dances. |
| Spontaneous & Improvisation (Unrehearsed) - Learn how to more freely dance before the Lord. Creative worship |
| Prophetic Dance - Understanding and interpreting what the Spirit of God is saying to us individually and to His people through movement and gesture. This class covers: What is prophetic dance and what it is not; basic movement and meanings to learn how to more clearly communicate God’s message. |
| Mime – Gestures and facial expression along with dance to interpret a song or drama. This style is usually done in full makeup. |
